This Mother's Day, celebrate your mum by helping Mother Nature!

Just as mothers nurture us, you can help nurture the vibrant marine life of the Great Barrier Reef with the purchase of a special edition eCard by Australian artist Fleur Harris.

When purchasing a Mother’s Day eCard you'll be helping to:

• Restore coral reefs – you will help plant corals through solutions such as Coral IVF or coral fragment planting. Our goal is to deploy 10 million corals with increased thermal tolerance annually across 100 priority reefs.
• Protect ocean habitats - the 1,050 islands and 2,300km of coastal wetland ecosystems along the Great Barrier Reef support some of the highest biodiversity on the planet and store carbon up to 50 times more efficiently than tropical rainforests. Our programs support the protection and restoration of critical Reef habitats essential to maintaining ocean biodiversity.
• Harness the unique role local communities and First Nations Peoples  play in conservation – we aim to create sustainable funding for Indigenous-led conservation on the Great Barrier Reef, and support  Traditional Owner groups managing crown-of-thorns starfish outbreaks, improving water quality and planting corals. 

Our planet needs healthy oceans to survive and healthy oceans need healthy reefs. The Reef has had a terrible summer and she’s hurting, but she is beautiful, resilient and with our help there is still hope to safeguard her future. This is the critical decade for bold, decisive action.
