Navigator College Great Barrier Reef

By Navigator College

Do you want the Great Barrier Reef to die?

Hi everyone,

Our names are Havanna, Matilda, & Makayla. We are year 9 students from Navigator College aiming to make a positive impact on the Great Barrier Reef.

As part of the year 9 curriculum it is required that we do a project lasting for about 15 weeks. We have decided to raise awareness to restore and repair the Great Barrier Reef.

The Great Barrier Reef Foundation is a foundation that does many great things in order to make a positive impact towards the Great Barrier Reef. They are making ground on saving the reef but they need your help. Your donation could help plant a piece of coral or even just removing waste from the ocean.

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world with the most complex natural ecosystems. It is home to thousands and thousands of species including fish and coral.

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most

The accumulated impacts of climate change, poor water quality and crown of thorns starfish outbreaks are having a dramatic and dire effect on the state of our Reef.

We need to intervene at scale and at pace before it becomes too late to act with hope of saving them.

We hope this has changed your mind on the Great Barrier Reef!

Kind Regards,

Havanna, Matilda, & Makayla
